On July 28, 2011 Honeywell announced a joint voluntary recall with the Consumer Products Safety Commission of their T4700 electronic wall thermostat. This thermostat is not a Cadet product, but some units were sold under our label, which is why the recall announcement mentions Cadet.

At Honeywell’s request, we are deferring all calls and inquiries to the Honeywell 800 number and website set up specifically for this recall. This will allow Honeywell to capture and track all inquiries and meet their reporting requirements for product replacement.

The Honeywell toll free number and website are informative and staffed for quick response. A pool of contractors is ready and waiting to assist with installation of replacement thermostats or, for those wanting to use their own contractor, a labor reimbursement program is in place.
