Model numbers and manufacture dates for baseboard heaters are found on a small, clear label near the junction box toward the left end of the heater and begin with a single letter or series of letters. Manufacture dates are listed below model, watts and volts in smaller letters and numbers after Mfg Date.

Many heaters look alike but may have different watts and volts, so exact model numbers are necessary.
