We are proud that Cadet residential fan and baseboard heaters have always been assembled in the United States. The components and raw materials used in these products are "substantially transformed" in the United States into a new and different article of commerce, and the steel used is sourced domestically. Today’s new homes built to green standards may require much less heating. Most furnaces are typically way oversized for the space, and are geared to “worse case” low temperature needs. In early March, Cadet Employees personally contributed $4,958 to Haiti disaster relief efforts. The company matched 100% of those dollars, and our owner made a personal challenge of an additional 100% match, for a grand total of $14,874 in donated funds! April 14th and 15th - 2010 Upper Midwest Electrical Expo in Minneapolis, MN is billed as the largest electrical trade show in North America. Last year the event featured 348 exhibits and drew over 10,000 attendees over the two-day event.
