Billings, Montana St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway

Tickets are on sale now for the September 27th giveaway of this net zero energy home, and public tours begin August 15th.

During the Fall of 2009, a new ENERGY STAR certified, Net Zero home will be raffled at the Josephine Crossing in Billings, MT. The Net Zero home built by McCall Homes, is designed to show how smart building choices can result in a home that minimizes energy use while maximizing comfort and style.

The 1,920 sq. ft. Dream Home features advanced building techniques and high efficiency products. The heating system used was a High Efficiency Mitsubishi Ductless Heat Pump for heating and cooling, and Cadet provided Register Plus heaters in all rooms for a backup heat source during the cold winter months. Homebuilder Brad McCall stated: “Heat Pumps have a difficult time handling outdoor temperatures lower than approximately 17 degrees, and electric in-wall heaters are a great solution for back up heat.”
