SPOTLIGHT ON MANUFACTURING:

Excellence Award

We are proud to announce that the Port of Vancouver awarded Cadet this year’s Environmental Steward of the Year award!

The Port of Vancouver’s Executive Director Larry Paulson stated: “Cadet manufactures electric heaters and is committed to lean manufacturing. This means maximizing efficiency and reducing waste and other impacts to the environment.  In addition to their own environmental programs, they have adopted the port’s no-idling policy, asking truckers to turn off their engines while loading to help improve air quality. Cadet exemplifies how a business’s bottom line is directly connected to efficient operations, a positive work atmosphere and protection of the environment.“.
