The Energy Plus heater delivers MORE comfort and uses LESS energy than standard in-wall fan heaters by using an innovative electronic, proportional controller that varies the wattage and fan speed outputs. This intelligent control adjusts to maintain the desired temperature for the room, delivering only the heat needed for maximum efficiency and quiet performance. The soft, quiet heat reduces on/off cycling and wasted energy.

A wall thermostat may not be used to control this heater. This model cannot be used to replace Com-Pak heaters installed in pre-existing FW and RB model wall cans.

Architectural Information:
Fan forced electric air heaters shall be ETL listed, factory field rated for multi-watt (120V/208V/240V) installations.
ENCLOSURE: The wall mounting can for this heater shall be of 20-gauge sheet steel with six electrical knockouts and 22 cubic inches for a wiring compartment, and finished with a powder coat paint system.
CONSTRUCTION: Each complete heater shall be of unitized construction and attach to the wall can with a single screw and shall be self-contained and completely separate from the wall mounting can. Metal grill shall be of one piece, 22-gauge steel construction, and finished with a powder coat paint system.
HEATING ELEMENT: Element construction is a coiled nichrome heating wire sealed in a steel sheath with steel fins brazed to the sheath.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION: Heating unit shall include a 16-amp rating at 240V, high temperature manual reset limit switch. Unit shall be protected from over-voltage use.
FAN AND MOTOR: A two stage centrifugal blower shall be driven by an impedance protected motor. The motor shall be totally isolated from the heating chamber. Unit shall be equipped with a fan only mode for air circulation. The air flow rate shall be 18 to 44 cfm.
CONTROLS: Control to provide automatic regulation to prevent over- voltage, independent control of motor and heating element to optimize comfort and minimize energy use, motor soft-start, and in-rush current limiting. The proportional fan and heat operation shall automatically adjust fan speed and wattage output from 1600 watts to 200 watts (240v power) depending on heat loss within the space. The controls shall include a one-button set back operation that is adjustable for night or away mode, and a maximum and minimum lock feature.
Technical Information:
All heaters include an onboard digital thermostat. Fan heaters work best when installed on an inside wall. The CE Series heater REQUIRES A MINIMUM distance of 6 inches from adjacent surfaces and 4.5 inches from the floor. However, Cadet RECOMMENDS 12 inches from all adjacent surfaces and 12 inches above the floor for longer and cleaner performance. A 3’ minimum clearance is required for furniture or other objects placed directly in front of the heater. Install vertically. Heater is not approved for horizontal or ceiling mount applications.
